Ainhoa ​​Segrera

Ainhoa Segrera began her dance studies in her hometown (Valencia) and graduated from the Professional Conservatory of Dance Valencia in 2019. Meanwhile, she completes her training with short-term courses, some of them with scholarships, in Academie Princesse Grace, American Ballet Theatre school and Royal Ballet School. She then moved to Amsterdam to join the trainee program of the European School of Ballet, under the direction of Jean-Yves Esquerre where she danced a very diverse repertoire including choreographies by David Dawson, Balanchine, Bournonville, Anabelle Lopez Ochoa and Maurice Béjart. In 2020 she joined Ballet du Capitole in Toulouse, directed by Kader Belarbi, for their productions of Bayadere and Raymonda. She worked with Ballet Ireland from 2021 to 2023 and since then she has performed works by Christopher Bruce, Filipe Portugal, Ohad Naharin, Roisin Whelan and Morgan Runacre-Temple. She joined the cast of Balletto di Roma in June 2024 immediately taking on leading roles, including Emilia in “Othello”, which debuted at the Teatro Regio in Parma (May 21, 2025). In June 2025 she performed in Ravenna for the national premiere of “La Dernière Danse?” by Micha Van Hoecke curated by Miki Matsuse and she also took part in the China Tour 2025 with “Othello” and “Juliet and Romeo” by Fabrizio Monteverde. On April 23-24, 2026, on stage at the International Ballet Festival in Tashkent (Uzbekistan), at the State Academic Bolshoi Theatre “Alisher Navoi” (GABT) with “DiNcAnTo, Dance steps on Bellini’s opera”.
